First Lady Butler Ministries

"Determined to Speak Life One Heart At A Time" would best describe the life mission of Dr/ Yolanda G. Butler.  Her ministry mandates are Exhortation, Prayer, Integrity and Community.   Dr. Butler has been favored with an anointing to passionately exhort the principles of the Word of God; birth vision through prayer and awaken the heart of intercession through every believer; provide support and resources to help others live balanced lives; and, speak life, causing others to be Challenged, Pushed and Refined (CPR) into walking an earnestly determined life.

A native of Southern California, she served in the corporate industry as an experienced paralegal, professional secretary, and administrator for 24 years before retiring into full-time ministry. She received her Evangelist Missionary license in 1998, licensed as an Ordained Minister in 2009, and installed as Co-Pastor of Praise Center in 2009.  She holds a Bachelors in Theology, Masters in Pastoral Psychology, and Doctorate in Religious Philosophy in Christian Leadership and Organization.  She is also a certified Life Coach, Mentor, and Spiritual Advisor.

With over 36 years experience in corporate and ministry, Dr. Butler founded First Lady Butler Ministries as a platform to identify, awaken, and launch others into walking into their defined steps in family, business, and ministry.  She established the Determined Coaching Program, a mentorship program for women, The Prayer Wall, a daily teleconference prayer line, and stands ready to convey a trusted voice of wisdom, sound instruction, and fervent prayer.

Dr. Butler has published multiple books, music, and prayer CDs, and is a monthly featured columnist in Church'n Magazine. She combines her passion for prayer, worship, and deliverance ministry to help others discover and live out a determined life on purpose.

She is the devoted wife of Bishop Donald H. Butler, founder of Praise Center Community Church, where she faithfully assists her husband to carry out the mission of the church: love God, love people, make disciples. They have two children and six grandchildren who they absolutely adore, and are the spiritual parents to chosen sons and daughters in the Gospel.

Her foundation scripture is Proverbs 15:4, "The tongue that brings healing is a tree of life, but a deceitful tongue crushes the spirit."  It is therefore Dr. Butler's mandate to, "Speak Life."
